Beaches Giving Fund

Provide fun, entertaining community activities that allow us to collectively raise money for local families in need.

The Beaches’ Team is proud of our community involvement which began soon after our first restaurant opened in 1995 in Vancouver, Washington. The proceeds from these events and activities go right back into the community to help families directly, or indirectly through programs. Almost all of our funds are used for basic needs or educational programs to help kids succeed. Our criteria for giving comes down to a simple premise – It must have a positive affect on a local family with 100% of the monies committed to a specific cause/program.

We reached our goal of giving back $1,000,000 in donations by 2011 and worked hard to reach the $2,000,000 mark by the end of 2015. Now shooting for 3 million by 2020!! This is accomplished by our continued partnerships with people in the community who support our mission. We are extremely grateful to all those who contribute their time, talents and funds

Green Eggs & Ham... Sam I Am

This is a county wide program for first graders where we provide a breakfast for them & their parents. It encourages the parents to come into the schools and read with their kids. And yes, it is literally Green Eggs & Ham!

We have been doing this since 1996. It started out with one school who really needed help to encourage parents to get involved. That is how the idea began- Breakfast, reading, prizes, etc… It has grown to 48 schools. We feed over 7,000 people in 5 mornings, and we do it with a lot of volunteers from our Beaches team, as well as lots of our friends here in the community. It’s just one of those programs that makes ya feel good!
